Shopping on the Golden Mile

The world’s best designers and fashion houses are found on Calle de Serrano, known as the Golden Mile of Madrid. Luxury and class are just 10 minutes walk from VP Madroño.

The Golden Mile is like one big catwalk. Do not miss Serrano, José Ortega y Gasset and Claudio Coello streets, as well as the Salamanca neighbourhood.

Paseo del Arte

The Paseo del Arte is a unique place in the world where you can visit three of the most important museums: Museo Nacional del Prado, Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza and Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, located in a beautiful and emblematic area of Madrid, the Paseo del Prado.

Getting there from VP Madroño is simple. If you would like to go for a walk, you can either walk directly (about 25 minutes) or take the metro, as we are on a direct line to Serrano. A visit is a must if you want to get to know our city. You can purchase a combined card to visit the three museums.

National Auditorium

If you are a great lover of classical music, you should not miss a concert at the National Auditorium in Madrid. It is very close to VP Madroño and offers the best classical music concerts in the country.

The Auditorium has two concert halls: Symphony and Chamber. The Orquesta y Coro Nacionales de España and the Joven Orquesta Nacional de España are based in the Auditorium.

Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas

The Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas is the largest bullring in Spain and is considered the cathedral of bullfighting. It is very close to VP Madroño and can be reached in a pleasant 15-minute walk.

We recommend the “Ventas Tour”, which takes you through the bullring, the front rows and entry to the plaza, where you can put yourself in the shoes of the three protagonists of the show: the bullfighter, the bull and the audience.
